Norwell Sugar Cane Farmer, Gavin Pahlke has been using his Gessner Big Buck for 25 years!
Gavin’s farm is located 33kms north of the Gold Coast City and produces sugar cane, garden mulch and soybeans. He has been using a Gessner Big Buck to carry out his fallow work for the past 25 years and it is still going strong.
“I have just purchased a couple of spare parts to replace a few shin guards and points this year (2021), and before that, the Big Buck has needed no major repairs or maintenance performed.”
Gavin says “the point design and crumble roller is far better in quality and design than that of its competitors”. He shares farming equipment with others in the local area and they pit machines against each other regularly.
We recently caught up with Gavin at FarmFest, and he told our Sales Director, Michael O’Connor, “all the other guys I farm with in the area back the Gessner, and are now asking to borrow mine all the time!”
